市場関係者から、そんなささやきが聞こえてくる。Such a whisper can be heard from market participants.
株式市場では円安を好感してトヨタ自動車や日産、ホンダなどの株価は上昇傾向にある。しかし、こんなもんは上っ面の一時現象なのである。
「１２年３月期に赤字転落するマツダが、最大で１７００億円の資金調達に踏み切ります。台所事情は予想以上に苦しいのでしょう。トヨタは１５日に国内の格付け会社Ｒ＆Ｉから格下げされ、最上級トリプルＡ格を失った。自動車メーカーの先行きは暗澹（あんたん）たるものです」（出会い市場関係者）
　経済評論家の杉村富生氏も言う。
「自動車大手７社の最盛期の営業利益は合計で約４兆５０００億円ありました。ところが１２年３月期は１兆円程度に低迷です。翌１３年３月期は大震災やタイ洪水の影響が消え約２兆円を確保する見通しですが、トヨタは過去最高の世界販売台数出会いを見込んでいます。過去最高なのに利益は最盛期の半分。自動車産業は利益の出にくい体質になってしまった。

　日本の経済成長を支えてきた家電業界はソニーやパナソニックが巨額赤字に転落。さよならニッポンの家電と揶揄（やゆ）されている。自動車産業も同じ運命をたどることになりそうだ。
「販売台数の増加はインドや中国など新興国の需要増です。でも売れるのは儲からない小型車ばかり。利益率の高いクルマは売れません。主戦場の北米では家電と同じく韓国メーカーの台頭が凄まじい。日本車のシェアを大きく奪っています」（経済ジャーナリストの井上学氏）
　成長市場の中国では米ＧＭや独フォルクスワーゲンが売れ筋。日本メーカーは完全に出遅れた。若干の円安効果で自動車各社の業績は、しばらくは上向くだろうが、ビジネスモデルは崩壊寸前。家電に続き、自動車もこうだと、“さよならニッポン”である。
